Oh HELLO......

Good Morning! Sun is shining here today and some blue up in the sky so I am happy! I am sorry it's taken so long to update my blog. It's been an extremely busy week with our business which has left me little time to craft.

The inspiration for this card was found on Pinterest. I love finding new ways to use the Framelits dies. They are so versatile. I much prefer them to the bulky Bigz dies. So on to the recipe:

Tea for Two DSP
Window Frames Collection
Very Vanilla card stock
Linen Thread
Lucky Limeade card stock
Oh Hello stamp set
Lovely Little Labels
Little Labels Punch pack
Jewelry Tag punch

Thanks for having a look and I hope you will come by again! Cya soon.

Bloomin Marvelous !!!

Hi ! So glad you dropped in. Today has been dreary again and I am in desperate need of colour! So todays card is full of it. I used the Floral Fusion Sizzlits from Stampin Up to create all the flowers. The card stock used is Whisper White, Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight and Lucky Limeade. The background on the Lucky Limeade was stamped using the Strippled Blossoms and Bloomin Marvelous stamps. I added a white tag to the front of the card for the sentiment. A border punch on Calypso Coral card stock attached to the front of the card once I cuto f 1 inch of the white card stock. The background was stamped using my new Distressed Dots stamp ( which is sure to be a new favourite) in Daffodil Delight. Added alot of Rhinestones for the extra bit of Bling and here you have it!! I hope you enjoy and that the sun is shining on you today. Cya soon

Colouring Techniques

Well I am still working on my colouring techniques. In this example I stamped my image with chocolate chip ink and coloured in using watercolour pencils. Carefully using my blender pens I added a little old olive ink until I achieved the look I wanted. If you don't already know the  card is  made using the 3 step stamping technique and tutorials can be found on youtube for it. I hope you enjoyed the card I made. Cya soon!

Post it note holder

A little post it note holder using items from Stampin Up Sale A Bration catalogue. This was inspired by someone's post in Splitcoast Stampers. The measurements for this holder are: cardstock cut at 3 1/8 inch by 9 1/4 inch. Scored at 3 3/8, 3 3/4 and 7 3/4 inches.

I added a calendar inside and used my border punch on the bottom along with very vanilla seam binding ribbon to dress it up.
