Autumn Butterflies...

Hey Stampers! I hope you are enjoying a restful Sunday. Weather has turned here and thoughts of Autumn are filling my mind. I cannot believe we are having such cool temperatures and it's July!!!

The up side is I want to work with all the beautiful autumn colors. Today I'd like to share a couple of cards I created. Again I want to demonstrate how to make the most of these stamps and time.

The butterfly has been cut out and embossed in gold. Unfortunately the photo doesn't do it justice as it is stunning and I am so pleased how this card has come out. I love getting my fingers inked up with making my own backgrounds. Too much fun !!

What happened to the cut out Butterfly you ask? Here it is! I have used it on this next card. I've kept this card simple only adding this little metal safety pin for the finishing touch.

I hope you have enjoyed todays projects. Please visit again. Cya soon!

Joy to the World……..

Hi Stampers and welcome. I've had a chance to start my Christmas cards for 2015. A little late for me but it has to be done! I'd like to share some new ideas that you might like to incorporate in this seasons cards yourself.

I am loving the water coloured effect at the moment and thought it might look cool on the snowflakes so I got my supplies out and here you can see I have stayed busy ! Stay tuned for more of this in my cards to come.

I hope you have enjoyed these and will come again . Have a great day. Cya soon!

Making the most of your stamps

Hi Stampers! Today I want to share a couple of techniques I have played around with this week. I am always trying to find new ways to use my stamps. I like to get the most for my money, don't we all? So let's take a look at the two projects….

So first I have used the kissing technique incorporating the Watercolour Wings with Morning Meadow. Of course you could easily substitute any stamp I just thought the little flowers would look nice on this one. Colours used are Blushing Bride, Strawberry Slush, Crumb Cake and Soft Suede.

It's just a fun way to get the most out of this set!  Next I have used the Indescribable Gift Stamp set. I embossed the image on watercolour paper first. Next I water coloured the image using pool party, strawberry slush and hello honey. I got a little heavy handed on the strawberry slush so do be careful! You can always come back in after it has dried and add more colour if desired. I just love the vibrancy of this one! Very artsy:-)

I hope you have enjoyed stopping by my studio today. If you have any question please feel free to contact me. Have a wonderful weekend. Cya soon!!
